Flexible meeting and conference rooms in Malta by the sea
The Radisson Blu Resort boasts five meeting and conference rooms that offer flexible space to accommodate up to 1,500 guests. These conference rooms in Malta include small rooms ideal for 100 guests for a cocktail reception, facilities ideal for 250 guests and the Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 700 guests in theatre-style seating. Under Maltese fiscal legislation, companies who organise a conference or meeting in Malta have the opportunity to reclaim 5% to 18% of the VAT fee if travel expenses qualify. The Grand Ballroom
Located on the ground floor at the swimming pool level, the hotel's impressive Grand Ballroom is simply breathtaking. The room features large windows on three sides, a high ceiling and wide-open space, providing abundant natural light. Plan events for up to 350 delegates in classroom-style seating with back projection or 700 in theatre-style seating with front projection. The Grand Ballroom opens onto a large terrace overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. This terrace can be utilised for coffee breaks or a reception area for up to 500 guests. The Grand Ballroom is also a magnificent venue for special occasions, including a gala banquet, celebration reception or simple cocktail party.
The Carlson Suite
Situated on the fifth floor of the resort, this imposing room benefits from a large open area that makes it the ideal venue for a variety of meeting and conference set-ups. A pre- and post-function lobby and terrace is available for registration, coffee breaks and cocktail receptions. The suite can accommodate 250 guests in theatre-style seating, 160 in classroom-style seating, 200 for a sit-down dinner and 300 guests for a cocktail reception.
The Marie-Louise Suite
The Marie-Louise Suite is situated on the seventh (top) floor of the hotel and boasts the same facilities as the Carlson Suite but with a slightly smaller floor area. This suite can accommodate 200 guests in theatre-style seating, 150 for classroom-style meetings and presentations, 150 for private dinners and banquets and 250 for a cocktail reception. This suite can also be divided into two rooms with a soundproof partition, enabling guests to have separate meetings or presentations running concurrently. The Marie-Louise Suite is ideal for small conferences with banquets held in the adjacent room.
The Claremont Suite
With direct access from the hotel's main lobby area, The Claremont Suite provides the perfect location for small meetings. The room holds 125 guests for a cocktail reception, 100 delegates in theatre-style seating, 75 in classroom-style seating and up to 40 delegates for boardroom meetings. A large terrace adjacent to the suite is ideal for breakfast, coffee breaks and lunches.
The Reading Room
Situated on the third floor of the hotel just above the lobby area, this room is the ideal venue for small seminars, product launches and workshops. The Reading Room can accommodate 80 delegates in theatre-style seating and 50 in classroom-style seating and can also cater up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception. The Reading Room is an excellent setting for intimate banquets.
